Friendly Visitor Program: Volunteers make regular in-home or nursing home visits to offer companionship and support to those who are alone.

Guardianship: This court-ordered program provides assistance to those who need help with their financial matters and coping with life's issues.

Health Screening Clinics: This service offers preventative health care, including early detection counseling. Clinics are held around the county yearly.

Home Health Program: This program provides specialized in-home care such as bed baths, help with exercising, and other health needs by certified health care staff.

Homemaker Service: Seniors receive help with their cleaning, laundry, and limited grocery shopping.

Information and assistance: Boone County Senior Services is the only complete resource center about community senior services in the area.

SHIP (Medical/Medicare Insurance Assistance): Volunteers help answer your questions about Medicare and supplemental insurance policies. Appointments are scheduled by BCSSI with SHIP. To make an appointment contact us at (765) 482-5220 or (317) 873-8939.

Transportation: Transportation is provided to Boone County residents over the age of 60 and to Medicare clients for appointments, errands, and more. Appointments must be made in advance
